Low Fat Salmon Recipes

Finding delicious has become easier since you found our website. There are many wonderful low-fat recipes for salmon that will delight the palates of your guests or family. This first recipe uses low fat salmon delicious ingredients such as low or fat-free sour cream or mayonnaise without creating a delicious cream of salmon recipe that is perfect for any occasion. For this recipe you need: 2 pounds salmon fillets, ¾ cup low fat sour cream or fat-free 1 / 3 cup mayonnaise or fat-free 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour, 2 tablespoons lemon juice 8 ounces cream cheese low-fat or fat-free 1 clove garlic, minced 1 / 3 cup white wine to your favorite salt, pepper and paprika to taste. Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Wash the salmon and dry with a paper towel. Use a cooking spray such as Pam and spray your 9×13 inch baking dish. Place salmon fillets in baking dish skin side down in a single layer. In a medium bowl, combine sour cream, mayonnaise, flour, lemon juice, cream cheese, garlic and wine until smooth and well blended. Now, with the back of a spoon spread the mixture over the salmon. Sprinkle with salt, pepper and paprika to taste. No cover and cook for about 20 minutes. You can use a meat thermometer to ensure your salmon is done and not overcooked. The internal temperature should be 140 degrees Fahrenheit. The salmon cooked even after it withdraws from the heat source. Do not go by color alone. You can also prepare low fat recipes for salmon on the grill or barbeque and create a wonderful low-fat dip to enhance the flavor of your salmon. An ideal sauce to serve with grilled salmon is a low-fat dip dill lemon. For this sauce you need: 2 tablespoons fat-free mayonnaise 2 tablespoons lime juice 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard ¾ teaspoon dill salt and pepper to taste. Mix all ingredients with a wire whisk and refrigerate until ready to serve.
