If you are looking to reduce the heavy foods and eating more salads, this is a great recipe for you. Do you like salad, but leave you hungry (and wanting to snack!) A couple of hours after dinner? If so, this is a perfect salad recipe for you. It is healthy, much lighter than most meals, however, contains proteins, grains, fruits and nuts, which will keep you from having the sensation of hunger before the time for your next meal. Try this chicken wild rice salad with dried fruits and nuts. It’s a salad you will be pleased to have in your recipe file. CHICKEN-WILD RICE SALAD WITH DRIED FRUIT AND PEANUTS1 package (6. 2 oz) quick-cooking long grain and wild rice MIX2 cups chopped cooked chicken (or turkey) 1 medium apple, unpeeled chopped1 paprika, green, chopped1 half stalk of celery, chopped1 / 2 cup pieces apricots1 / 3 cup chopped dried soy sauce2 cherries2 tablespoons tablespoons teaspoon touch water2 granulated sugar substitute as Splenda2 teaspoon cider vinegar1 / 3 cup dry roasted rice mixture as peanutsCook indicated on the package, omitting butter. For those who like meat soup, try this recipe for chicken soup with wild rice and spinach. For plant lovers, try this recipe for Spring Vegetable Cream Soup Rice. CHICKEN SOUP WITH WILD RICE and spinach 1 can (14 ounces) reduced-sodium chicken broth 1 3 / 4 cups diced carrots 2 cups wild rice cooked 2 cans (10 3/4-oz each cream), condensed chicken soup 1 teaspoon thyme 1 / 4 teaspoon dried sage Freshly ground black pepper, diced or strips 2 cups baby spinach, chopped 1 / 2 cup milk in a medium saucepan, bring chicken broth to a boil and add carrots and cook about 10-12 minutes. If you follow my blogs, you know I’m trying to encourage busy families everywhere to reduce travel through the lanes of fast food and family-style meals, more nutritious food at home. It is less expensive, much healthier for your family, promotes the union and that all involved, and gives family members time to share and bond over the dinner table. Here is another recipe for a dinner, two chicken and rice bean. In this dish quick and easy, you have the ingredients of a balanced meal. You have the meat, spices, vegetables, ie, onions, tomatoes, green beans, chickpeas, all served in a grain of starch rice. To make this more healthful food, grain rice, use brown or whole. All you have to add is a quick salad and have a meal. To include dairy products, milk is like drinking an ice cream for dessert. TWO BEAN AND CHICKEN RICE1 chicken, cut UP2 tablespoons olive oil2 med onions, garlic sliced1, minced2 cans (16 ounces each) stewed teaspoon dry tomatoes1 basil1 / 2 teaspoon bay allspice2 leaves1 (10 ounce) package frozen green beans2 (16-ounce cans) chickpeas (Garbanzos), drained1 1 / 2 cups hot chicken skin preparations riceRemove. Heat oil in large skillet over medium-high heat, add chicken and brown on all sides. Add onion and garlic. Sauté 5 minutes or until onions are brown. Add undrained tomatoes, basil, pepper and bay leaves to skillet. Bring to a boil and reduce heat. Cook, covered, for 20 minutes. Remove and discard bay leaves.
