GREEN CHILE CHICKEN FRIED BUTTERMILK 1 / 4 cup buttermilk lowfat milk 1 carton (8-oz) sour cream 1 can (4 ounces) diced green peppers 2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro Chile 2 tablespoons juice lemon juice 1 clove garlic, minced 3 / 4 teaspoon ground cumin 1 / 2 teaspoon salt 1 / 4 teaspoon black pepper 1 broiler-fryer (2 1 / 2 to 3 pounds), sliced 3 / 4 cup flour Any use canola oil for frying Place chicken pieces in a large plastic bag and secure zip-top bag in a shallow pan.
