Chicken is one of the most popular meat to eat in the world. Every day, millions of people eat chicken in a variety of ways. They can choose grilled, baked, smoke, or fry, or use it in another dish, like a casserole, salad, soup or pasta. fast food restaurants here in the U.S. less thrive in sales of chicken related dishes such as sandwiches, nuggets, wraps and salads. With so many people who eat meat, there must be hundreds of recipes out there, do not you think? Recipes for chicken dishes can vary greatly in many ways. Some are simple, five minutes recipes that can be prepared for just a couple of people after a long day at work. Others may take all day to cook and combine several ingredients with the chicken. The complexity of these recipes can also vary. A salad, for example, just to be part of cooking the chicken and threw it with some vegetables. Other dishes, like chicken and dumplings, it would be necessary to cut the meat and dough, then allowing both to cook in a pot for hours. Personally, I like to prepare my chicken on a variety of ways. My recipe box is filled with hundreds of chicken-based creations that I could not choose a favorite! Roast chicken was always fun when you’re having a cookout for the family. Hot chicken soup is very nice to eat in the cold of winter. Chicken wraps for a quick and healthy meal. I imagine that I love so much chicken that is consumed almost daily. The best thing about cooking chicken is that the possibilities are endless … You could cook chicken every day for a year and never eat the exact same meal twice! Breasts Apricot Ginger Grilled Chicken 3 chicken breasts, split (with bone) 1 / 3 cup apricot preserves 1 / 4 cup lemon juice 1 tablespoon chopped fresh ginger 2 teaspoons Dijon mustard 1 / 2 teaspoon salt 1 / 4 teaspoon freshly ground pepper Prepare a medium hot fire in grill. In a small saucepan, heat preserves, lemon juice, ginger, mustard, salt and pepper over medium heat, stirring, until preserves melt only about 2 minutes. Grill chicken, skin side down, 10 minutes. Turn and grill 5 minutes. Brush with some glaze and continue grilling, turning occasionally and brush with more glaze, until juices run clear when chicken is pricked with a knife, 15-20 minutes. Stop basting about 5 minutes before chicken is done. Makes 6 servings
