I’ve eaten a lot of this potato salad at family gatherings and picnics (and I enjoyed every bite!). Honey Fried Chicken is f? Easy to prepare and travel well. As? grab your picnic basket, load up and head to your favorite picnic spot. RAISIN FILLED COOKIES 1 cup butter 1 cup sour cream 2 eggs 1 teaspoon vanilla 2 cups az? Car pinch of salt 1 teaspoon baking powder 1 teaspoon baking soda 4 cups all-purpose flour (or sufficient to form a soft dough) Filling: 2 cups raisins, chopped 1 level teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon vinegar 1 cup hot water 1 cup az? car 2 tablespoons of flour or starch? n ma? z Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a taz? N large, combine butter, sour cream, eggs, vanilla, az? Car, salt, baking powder and baking soda. Combine the mixture well. A? Gradually add flour until dough is smooth. Roll out the dough thin on a floured surface. Using a cookie cutter or a glass of a round cut n? Mere two cookies dough. Mix all filling ingredients together well. With Spoon filling into half of the cookies and top with remaining cookies. Use a fork or your fingers to pinch the edges of the top and bottom to seal the filling. Bake 6 minutes at 350 degrees on bottom oven rack. Move a baking sheet with the top rack of oven and bake another 6 minutes or until browned. Cool cookies on wire rack. Yield: About 4 dozen cookies in size or medium LEAFY GRANDMOTHER OF PUR? POTATO SALAD 3 to 4 pounds potatoes, peeled and boiled in salted water until they are up tender. Pur? with a potato masher. Place potatoes in a taz? N large. 1 / 4 to 12 cups of cream 1 tablespoon butter 1 to 1 1 / 2 az? Heavy car tablespoons vinegar to taste mustard to taste 1 medium onion, chopped 4 hard boiled eggs, chopped 3 1 booked Mix cream, Butter, mustard, az? car, vinegar and onion. Mix the chopped egg mixture until blended. Add to pur? potatoes and mix well. Cut the reserved egg and use to decorate the top of the salad. HONEY FRIED CHICKEN 3 pounds of chicken cut in 4.3 cup honey 3 / 4 to 1 cup baking mix buttermilk (as Bisquik) 2 teaspoons dry mustard 1 / 2 teaspoon piment? N Salt to taste Pepper to taste Vegetable oil for fre? r Coat chicken pieces with honey, set aside. Combine baking mix, mustard powder, piment? N, salt and pepper. Dredge chicken pieces in baking mix mixture. Pour enough oil in a skillet? No 12 “to reach a depth of 1/2-inch. Allow oil to heat to 375 degrees over medium heat. Carefully place chicken in hot oil and cook about 5 minutes or until bottom is brown parts? N gold. A chicken pieces and cook for 5 minutes. Reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes m?
