This article includes several large chicken recipes that are easy to make but it is also ideal for experimenting with your own personal touch of flavors! FajitasIngredients Chicken: 1 1 / 2 pounds chicken, cut into pieces or tablespoon Worcestershire tablespoons soy sauce1 strips1 sauce1 tablespoons cider vinegar1 teaspoon pepper dash of hot pepper sauce1 Powdered onion, cut into sliced1 clove garlic, green pepper minced1, seeded and sliced1 tablespoons vegetable oil1 / 2 lemon, juicedDirections: Combine the Worcestershire sauce, cider vinegar, soy sauce, garlic, chili powder and hot pepper sauce in medium bowl. In a bowl, combine lemon juice, butter, garlic, pepper and salt. Mix well. Place bread crumbs in a bowl. Roll chicken in lemon and butter mixture, then roll in bread crumbs to a uniform layer. Place chicken in a greased 9 x 13-in baking dish. Sprinkle a little more butter mixture over chicken and bake for half an hour at 350 degrees F. Teriyaki ChickenIngredients: 12 chicken thighs (skinless) 1 / 2 cup soy sauce1 / 4 cup tablespoons cider vinegar1 cornstarch1 / 2 cup cold white water1 sugar1 tablespoons garlic clove, minced1 / 2 teaspoon ginger1 / 4 teaspoon black pepperDirections: In a saucepan, heat the cornstarch, soy sauce, water, sugar, garlic, vinegar, ginger and pepper. Bring to a simmer, stirring, but often until sauce thickens. Place chicken thighs in a greased 9 x 13 inch baking dish and brush each piece with sauce. Turn them over and brush the other side. Bake at 425 degrees F for about half an hour. Flip the thighs over and bake for an additional half hour or until done. Try basting the chicken with the sauce about every 10 to 15 minutes as it bakes. PieIngredients Chicken Pot: 2 (9-in pie) crusts1 pounds uncooked chicken breast halves, cubed2 / 3 cup milk1 3 / 4 cups chicken broth1 / 3 cup cup cup sliced frozen flour1 peas1 carrots1 / 3 cup onion1 / 2 cup sliced celery1 / 3 cup butter1 / 4 teaspoon celery seed1 / 2 teaspoon salt1 / 4 teaspoon black pepperDirections: In a medium sized sauce pan, add the chicken, peas, celery and carrots and fill with water until all ingredients are submerged. Cover and simmer for about 15 minutes. Remove from heat and drain, and transfer to a bowl. Set aside. In saucepan, cook onion in butter until translucent. Add the flour, celery seed, pepper and salt. Add the chicken broth and milk slowly. Simmer the mixture over medium-low heat until sauce thickens. Remove from heat and set aside. Place chicken and vegetables in the bottom pie crust. Pour the liquid mixture to flour and chicken broth over chicken and cover with other pie crust. Pinch the edges of pie crusts together to seal. Trim excess dough as necessary. Make a few small slits in the top and bake for about half an hour at 425 degrees F (or until the crust turns a nice golden brown. Cool for a few minutes before serving.
