Hello, eggs are very healthy for you and the olive oil is an incredible antioxidant and great for your diet. It is much better than corn oil or canola oil which is generally used for brownies. People used to think that eggs are bad for you because of its high content of cholesterol, but current research shows that this is not true. Eating eggs will not give you high cholesterol. Eggs are full of high quality protein, vitamins and minerals.

Hello, I love grilling, too, but I recommend it in moderation, due to increased risk of cancer by cooking foods at high temperatures. To help minimize this risk, be sure to cook your food slowly to reduce the formation of a chemical called heterocyclic amines (HA). HA are carcinogenic and are linked to cancer. Also, be sure to use marinades, and to significantly reduce the formation of these chemicals. Avoid charring the food.

Well, I made these brownies today. I used 3 egg whites instead of the blades and wheat germ instead of oat bran (lazy did not want to go to the store). It was freakin delicious! Texture is not like the cake, wetter, like rubber, but I prefer the texture over a real Browny because he was much heavier and satisfactory.

Hello, when buying olive oil you want to buy cold-pressed extra virgin. This ensures that it is minimally processed. This oil comes from the first “pressing” of the olive and extracted without using heat or chemicals. This is really important for flavor, vitamins and antioxidants. Also, make sure you buy olive oil in a dark bottle. This ensures the protection of light that causes the loss of antioxidants and faster rancidity. Hope that helps: o)

I have not tried it. If you try, please let me know how it goes. I know that with baked goods is sometimes better to use egg beaters instead of egg whites and egg whites only change the consistency. Many adjustments are made to mitigate that by adding a teaspoon of oil for each yolk ignored.

One more question: From which call for olive oil, I was curious if there is one brand or type I should look for. I bought a light olive oil once and realized I had more fat then canola Sat. Maybe it was the wrong kind of oil? Not crazy about the strong bitterness. So what i can buy that is healhy but not too strong? Thanks!

Should I use only eggwhites? If so himself about the amount you think?

Hello, I do love eggs and I usually like to enjoy them in my diet by eating them. When used for baking in a recipe that is lower in fat and calories they usually use egg substitute, because they have no fat or cholesterol. In addition, some people with special diets that have high cholesterol may want to limit egg consumption. One of the main reasons though is that with the egg substitute you can eat pasta because they are pasteurized!

Hello, I have a quick question about your prescription: why replace the eggs? There is a large poster in my gym explaining how healthy and good for the eggs are and what your cholesterol does not add to the bad cholesterol your doctor warns you about.

Hello, I tried that too and I also used as a substitute for yogurt and I agree it’s great too! I stick with olive oil, because although it is so incredibly healthy for you. It’s a great way to get more monounsaturated fats in your diet and is so full of antioxidants. There is a long list of health benefits, so I try to use it as often as possible in recipes that require oil.
